Ms. Jenna

My name is Jenna Elder. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I am currently a student in Brooklyn College, who is working towards a Master’s degree in early childhood education. Academically, I have always been driven by a passion for teaching. This passion was brought through an early age, as I always thought teaching was a rewarding career. The ability to play a role in shaping young minds, and helping them prepare for success later in life. While also including the great connections I have made through children in my life. The ability to educate, while also making it enjoyable for young children has always been a passion of mine. I have made many connections with children over the past years. Through voluntarily working in daycares, being a paraprofessional in public schools and to now being a 3-K teacher. Beyond academics, my interests include spending time with family, traveling, and cosmetology. I would often describe myself as a dynamic, hardworking, creative, and trustworthy individual.
